Returns

We would like you to be satisfied with every order you place. If you have received an item that you are not 100% happy with, please request a return by contacting us by phone: 07 32079777, or email: sales@coastalgiftsandhome.com.au with Your Name, Address, Phone Number, Product Description, Product Code, Customer Order Number, Purchase Amount, Reason for Return.

We may offer you a refund, store credit, or exchange providing the merchandise:

  1. is returned in a reasonable time;
  2. is in the original condition; and
  3. is unused with all original packaging and tags attached.

In most cases a reasonable amount of time is deemed to be 14 calendar days from the date the goods are received. Where an item is damaged through misuse or abnormal use, Coastal Gifts and Home will not provide a refund, exchange or repair.

Any items replaced under this Returns Policy due to being faulty, damaged, or incorrect will be delivered to you free of charge and we will arrange the collection of the merchandise or pay for the cost of returning the merchandise to us.

“Change of mind” returns will be accepted, and you will be given a store credit, on the provision the item is returned at your cost in the original condition, in its original packaging. It is recommended you package the item carefully as “change of mind” items damaged in transit returning to Coastal Gifts and Home cannot be refunded. Refunds for all purchases will be given using your original payment method. Only items purchased directly from the Coastal Gifts and Home online store or retail outlet can be returned to Coastal Gifts and Home. 

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not impacted by our Terms or limited by a defined time frame. However the Australian Consumer Law does recognize that the relevant time period may vary by product (or service) depending on the nature of the goods (or service), the price paid and any representations made about the goods (or service).
